There's also a difference between being heckeld on stage and unrully children in a classroom. but yes that does not justify the teacher hitting the kids either in the fashion he did.

How is the situation with teacher's rights in dealing with out of control kids in the US? I know that in Finland, much could be improved in that arena. I don't mean that teachers should be allowed to go ninja-turtle on their students, but what about, for example, forcibly removing a student from the class? What are the limits as to the force the teacher is allowed to use? If a teacher isn't allowed to touch a hair on their students, even when attacked, then what IS he allowed to do when faced with violence?

I agree with 'Macca' on this one. The pendulum has swung too far the other way and now a teacher can't even shout at a kid in the wrong way. Hard dicipline needs to be returned things are getting rediculous. When I was a kid in school you never heard of stabbings and shootings but now they seem all the rage.

This student had one of those four pushbutton microchip recorded toys and one said "Fn jerk" and another button said "F U" so the teacher, exactly like this video, came up and drop kicked the guy right in the jaw just like karate kid. Then the other student who really was to blame jumped up and tackled the teacher at nearlythe same time. Suddenly the teacher was stomping on his skull several times until it crushed like a pancake. THen he went on with the lecuture teaching advanced algebra.
