Just got a letter from the DVLA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Driver_and_Vehicle_Licensing_Agency) warning me of court action if I don't pay a penalty to the fuckers. I forgot to declare my shitheap of a car off the road. Apparently I've committed an offence. Fucking Bastards.
My mate was heading back home to OZ and was having trouble selling his car. He really needed the money so he could visit Thailand on his way home. I felt sorry for him so I told him I would give him the money and sell it when he was gone. (Fucker probably used the money to fuck lady boys while he was there :1orglaugh: ) I was too lazy to sell it so it's been sitting in my drive for about 9 months. Now it's cost me more fucking money. A 'reduced' fine of £40 (should be £80) plus £19.17 in arrears. I actually made an attempt to sort it out a few months ago but their phone-in system is shite. All I got were pre-recorded messages and they have no rotation system when you’re on hold. If you don't get through to an operator, they just hang up and you have to try again. Patience isn't my strong point so I gave up fairly quickly.
To add insult to injury, I just read an article that the DVLA makes a profit of 1.1 million a year from their premium rate number. They're the fucking criminals as far as I'm concerned!
