What happens in a meth addict's head is very strange. They 'tweak out' in such a way that they can get like that, focusing on every little thing... but not really focusing at all. It's pretty difficult to describe.

It really is an incredible psychosis, and almost like an induced OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), paranoia (sometimes schizophrenic paranoia), and like I said before seems to fragment your thought pattern. A meth addict is likely to be working on 15-20 projects around the house, be it anything from soldering a playstation controller back together to sanding down a bar to get stained. None of these things will ever seem to get done.

On top of all this, one's life can really fall apart. A great rift was torn between my father and I due to a shared meth addiction, specifically crank. Life centers around the drug, and associating with other addicts isn't always safe, either.

Stay away, that's all I can say. I wish I could show people exactly what it was like to be in a meth addicted lifestyle so that they would never, ever even consider that first hit if it was ever offered.

Well, the obsessive compulsive do, but some fuck until their dick is one big raspberry, and drink unlimited amounts of alchocol, much more fun.

The early 70's gave me my "shot" at meth. Had "friends" (speed freaks have NO friends) that had to do a gram a day to wake the fuck up. The rush is tremendous but the consequiences are also. Did that until '77 and realized the waste of cash and theives abound. Pharmecutical speed in college made it easy to want to try meth. AND the shit is usually made in bathtubs, using "P" , draino, epsom salts etc. Then mixed with a white powdered laxitive or ANYTHIG else soluable.......any kind of shit they mix with meth.

NEVER touched the shit again and do not intend to. It WILL also fuck up your teeth really bad. Bet I have $10,000 in dental work now, starting in my 40's but was worth the money to save every tooth, and did.

I tried meth twice that I know of.
Both times just so happened to be at parties way out in the country here in Indiana. Both times I was suddenly irritated by everyone around me. I am normally one of the most social and entertaining, happy-to-meet-people, kind of guys. These 2 instances sent me off on 5+ mile one-man road marches back into where I was living in town. Sucked that neither time I had driven myself to the party but, then again maybe walking it off is what I needed. I have tried most everything and been addicted to several but, I have never had the desire to do meth since. Besides, I have seen it play Hell in a few of my family and friend's lives and it is just senseless. Just look at the ingredients (which I was not aware back then in college '93). Just look at how it destroys a pretty face. It really is one of the worst things to fuck around with. You never know if you're an addict until you start messing with drugs and by then it's usually too late. Even if you can kick it you can still be stuck with the burning desire for it for the rest of your life, creating mild to not-so-mild depression.

Sorry wrong profile. Being skinny is not it either. The number one probability is aged look compared to the actual age. People become severely aged as in real fast. Because meth put holes in your nervous system it also pits your face. Although the movie The Boost has many attributes to being on this type of drug they are still assumptious. Because I am skinny I get shook down or taken to the police station once in a while even with my surfboard but I guess there really was some crank going around at that time in the parking lot.

I hate to admit it, but i've experimented with meth on several occasions and i've never been like that. for some reason no one could ever even tell i was on it. i've never cleaned my house like crazy or picked at my face or any other whack shit. i think it all depends on how each individual person reacts with it. unfortunately i have a family member who did it only once and became extremely addicted. he is now clinically bi-polar and schizophrenic and has been in and out of jail at least 5 times and he's only 19. he's now on state disability because he can't properly interact with anyone around him. he's alot worse off than the girl in the ad. It's a strange drug.

Well since you asked, I was tricked into smoking it. Having never encountered it before, I was told (by my father) that it was THC crystals. :eek7: After that, the addiction grabbed a hold easily, since I was around it constantly.

Psh, even just barely starting out to be an EMT if I drive up to a scene I'm not afraid of crackheads or drunks. I'm afraid of the meth addicts and pcp freaks.

Crack doesn't really do all THAT much damage, neither does drinking except long term. Meth can kill you with just one hit. It's such a chemically saturated drug that it just blows your body apart.

If you think it's safer, go for it. As for me? I'd rather drink.
