Bikes don't make you do stupid shit, you make yourself do stupid shit. This guy and his buddy in front of him were stupid morons. Passing people in no passing zones on dangerous roadway... Brilliant. People like them give real riders a bad rep.

Inexperience makes you do shit like that. If you can look at the vid carefuly the organ donor with the camera drifted too much to the left and probably he was not paying attention because you can see the other bike comming from like a mile away.

Why? You wanna go to his funeral? go get a fucking life...
Shitty deals.. but yea.. thats why it's illegal to pass in a no-passing zone... (i.e around a turn)...I find it odd how he tried to get back into his own lane but never wanted to get off his bike ... even if it was to save his own life.
I thought he was gonna get drilled by the car/motorcycle first.. then it was the second one where he got smoked and went to organ donor heaven.

The biker with the camera was wrong, but the guy that he barrely misses was wrong as well. They both pass in a curve, on a road where it's not allowed.
You can see that he almost hits the first biker, then wobbles a little, then crashes into the next bike he just can't dodge.

you can clearly see that the person with the camera isn't a experienced biker... he makes lots of mistakes....
1) passing in blind curve
2) he does not look where he has to go but he looks where he is going... so instead of cutting the curve more by looking in the direction where he has to go, the camera driver looks at the danger ahead and slams into it (you go where you look at)
3) he goes on the brakes when taking the curve (thats a big no no!) so the bike sets itself straight and offcourse you go straight instead of turning....
that's what i think happend, i'm a biker, so i kinda know the danger

holy fuck, i totally had a dream last night that I was driving on the wrong side of the highway, and some fucking semi smashed into me, of course, i ended up driving away, because its a dream----pretty ironic that I wake up and see the exact same scenario of my dream on filecabi. except this one is.... organ donor time!

These fuckers do this in the Santa Cruz mountains all the time. I ride the yellow line on curves so they don't try to pass, putting me in danger. On the straight aways i let them pass.
I don't mind regular bikers, I just hate these guys.
There should be a law that these guys can not wear a helmet. So when they crash the tax payers only have to pay $6000.00 for a funeral instead hundreds of thousand for medical.

What gets me is the idiots who split the lane by roaring up behind you. It may be legal, but it doesn't make it smart. What if I were to drift in my lane. Nothing illegal about that either. And how many idiots do you see change lanes without even looking or signaling? Why bet your life on some drivers move.
This weekend I watched a real self-righteous biker shake his finger at a lady for changing into a lane that he was also about to take at high speed and from behind. The idiot then proceeded to quickly pass two cars on their right in a swoopenhousen maneuver and then sit splitting the lane between two cars, right in the blind spot of one of them. :eek7:

I had a low speed collision like that on a bike, crushing my ankle against the front of a car after sliding on a muddy road. In this case c'est la vie, you ride like it's a race track then you are looking at crashing like it's a race track. The only down side is that you create casualties from innnocents.

1st sign this guy was complete moron to begin with:
-Camera mounted on bullet bike.
2nd sign:
-Driving way too fast.
3rd sign:
-Passing vehicles on a winding canyon road.
4th sign...well you saw the rest of the clip.

The other rider in the collision was driving like an asshole too. Two sets of riders driving the opposite direction on a winding road.

Yea everybody seems to only blame the guy with the camera and the guy he was following, but to me it looks like the 2 guys on bikes in the oncoming lane were doing the exact same thing passing cars where they shouldnt. They probably just didnt have a camera. Kinda ironic: 2 sets of 2 guys on bikes, both sets making illegal passes, and both lead bikers dont have accidents while both trailing bikers crash...

June 16th, 2007, 03:34 AM
Sorry but how the hell was the guy he hit in the wrong?
The first guy he almost hit was overtaking a car, but not dangerously. If you look there are two lanes in the opposite direction. The car he was overtaking was in the right and he was in the left.
The guy he actually hit was traveling in the middle of his own lane not overtaking anything. Sure maybe 500m up the road he may have been riding dangerously, but at the moment of the accident he wasn't doing anything wrong.

Been on bikes all my life, mostly Harleys.
The cafe racer bikeriders are adrenalin chasers and feel invincible.
My really good friend Ron Smith from Wimberley drove his for over 80,000 miles. He went off the road and broke his neck on a curve just two months ago looking back at the telephone pole he totaled his truck on the SAME morning. Long story, but HE or I had no doubt he would go out on the road. sadly......still on my mind

Let me get this. Your buddy totaled his truck on a telephone pole. He goes back later that day on his bike to check out the pole.
I guess the only reason he is alive is that he didn't have anymore vehicles to check out where he broke his neck. This guy sounds really smart.

You stupid freaks that wish somebody dead have serious issues. Screw that and you.
The idiot on that bike with the camera was absolutely riding beyond his skills and had no clue about motorcycle safety. I wish they'd both lived through it so I could get together with the other guy and give that moron a beat down he'd never forget.
The oncoming biker was doing nothing wrong. He was occupying a legal lane for his direction of travel.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with mounting a camera, turning it on and going for a ride. Much safer than driving or riding while talking on a cell phone, it's set and forget. You are probably just worried that somebody with a camera on his bike will catch you making a left in front of a biker without looking, and you should be. I'm going to go buy a camera and rig it up soon, so you better F'in pay attention.
If all you sleepy dopers in oversized gas guzzling cages talking and texting on cell phones would ride motorcycles, the world would be a much better place.
