She had to tell the person at the store how much she won... he/she would hopefully already know what ticket he sold to her. You think that crap ain't written down. Where tickets are sold to, what series? (if thats the right word) are written down. She wouldn't be able to cash the ticket at the store (or at least I know around here if it's +$100 you can't). Not sure why she isn't without her money by now.

I'm also not sure if you have to cash the ticket at the shop you purchased your ticket. The criminals may have redeemed the ticket elsewhere. It sucks that you got people around like this who will even steel a lottery ticket for Pete sake, good job the ticket did'nt represent even higher winnings in the thousand or even millions. Although in the case of million it may be a lot more complicated in getting your winnings.
