I ride a bike, it's a lot of fun, and I'm inclined to defend a lot of motorcycle accidents as the stupid people in cars.

HOWEVER, in this video the motor cycle was clear going waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too fast and wasn't paying attention. The truck was clearly mostly across the road and should have been seen from a long way off at pretty much any reasonable speed.

If everyone rode a bike for one year the quality of drivers on the roads would improve soooo much. There is defensive driving, & then there is defensive riding. It forces you to be aware of everything from loose gravel on the road, to the flight path of a bird to some idiot on a cel phone. You never put yourself in a position that doesn't have an escape route, or else you end up being road pizza with extra sauce like the dude in the vid. Too bad this happened, but so many different ways to deal with being cut off besides driving right into the rig. At least lay the damn thing down so you do not get your head removed.:mad2: :mad2:
