While what the guy, the one under arrest, did was terrible and I understand why the officer would want to punch him, but as a police officer you can't lower yourself to their level. Police have to have the mind set to trust that the guy they arrest will be punished. Saddly, as we all know, that never happens. the gyu will probably get off with a warning while the police officer looses his job.

Although at least one thing going for the officer is he only punched the guy in the gut, we'va all seen a lot worse, like the guy tasering the shit out of a drunk handcuffed woman!

I hate it when people generalize a whole group because of a couple of people's actions! Calling law enforcement officers pigs is so disrespectful. We risk our lives everyday to protect your: property, families, and your lives. You don't know the circumstances that lead up to that punch. The suspect could have been spitting on the officer for all you know, exposing him to HIV/hepatitus. Maybe he was refusing to get in the back of the car earlier,that tape only shows one perspective.
