Busted my hand.

Ten days ago I came off my bike and fell heavily on my right hand:

It was my own fault, I was simply riding too fast. I was going through a pedestrian plaza when I rounded a pillar and saw a staircase down right in front of me, tried to steer for a fraction of a sec, felt the front tyre start to let go then hit the brakes. I had my seat post up very high (for pedalling efficiency) and I just sailed over the bars. What a bonehead! ;)

So, I'm off work for a couple more days, waiting for the insurance company to get back to my boss saying I can return to light duties, and off my bike altogether for a month. I reckon I'll hit the gym and use the machines to build up my legs a bit.

Bleah! Walking sucks.

The CAT scans are actually remarkably clear, much better than the X-rays I had done on the day. Blame my camera's lack of manual focus and poor auto for the blurriness of those images.

I broke the triuqetral bone, which is the carpal immediately beyond the head of the ulna.

OK, to clear up that last post:
Gossip: Talking with someone about a third party.
Hearsay: Statements that are unfounded because they are second hand. Any cop will tell you hearsay is inadmissible.

So, when Butterz says that PlaneswalkerWhy said whatever douchenozzled boneheadedness, that's hearsay. If we were talking crap more genrally without specifically quoting him then it's gossip. Perhaps it's a fine distinction, but it's one that I consider important.
