My buddy and I just submitted this amateur video in a contest called WV is Calling. The state of WV had the video contest to promote the state's tourism opps and "natural beauty". Our video is called "Friday Morning". The competition seems pretty slim to me. What do you think?

The winner of this thing gets a Camry hybrid (!). There are only 80 or so entries, half of which are basically slideshows put to music. Come on, tell me how you see it stacking up!

I didn't watch the others, but I like this one. I'd check out WV this weekend, if only it weren't so damn far away.

I will be totaly upfront I was waiting and waiting for something funny to happen.

It was ok not the best video clip I have seen but I have not seen any of the others well good luck guy's hope you get what you set out to get.

Main thing is you had fun doing it.

It was pretty good overall. A little long at the start though, probably could edit that down to just the semi-funny parts and get to showing the scenery etc.

That part where the banjo music came in kind of reminded me of the movie "Deliverance" so maybe that wasn't the best music to splice in.

Some of the other clips show stuff about the railway and tram rides and stuff. It would make it much more appealing to add in more of a variety of things to do there. Also mentioning the over 40 state parks, and time from the airport etc. would make it more appealing as well.

I like the scenery shots, but I was hoping to see some sort of camping or camp site footage. Otherwise it gives the impression that it's just good for a day hike type of thing.
