OK serioulsy.... I go to my town's alternative school (which used to be a church) for kids who got behind on their credits. The building is also home to the delinquency school (which is found in the chapel) (and the drug-rehab school which is found outside in a number of portable classrooms).
But there is also one classroom set aside for younger delinquents.
Normally I pass by without really looking in, but as of last week we got a whole new batch of trouble makers and not a single one of them look to be 8-years-old. How does that happen?
What sort of act could a 7-year-old pull off to be sent away to the "bad kids" school? I knew some bad kids when I was little but very few of them actually did anything illegal.
Yesterday I saw some parents standing outside the room with one of the kids and the teacher was telling them their son had "Dropped the F-Bomb." Today a very angry couple of parents came to the school for a different kid... Half of us alternative kids saw his mother drag him into the ladie's room and heard her beat him while the kid's dad stood guard outside the door. I could roughly hear the mom saying things like "How could you!?" And the boy saying "OWW NO MOM PLEASE STOP OWWW!!" from the hallway.
Nobody knows what the kid said/did but it MUST'VE been bad to have BOTH of his parents come to school to punish him.

Anyway my point. How does a kid manage to get in that kind of trouble? I'd really like to know out of my own curiosity. Has anybody worked with kids in the past?

some kids are just born bad. My dad would tell me stories about one kid who was always a bully. When he was 15 he stole like 10$ from a 6 year old girl. So my dad reported him to the police and he got mad at my dad! Well one day he and a bunch of his friends were driving in a van and he (speeding) flipped the van a couple of times. He is now unable to walk, but still just as big of a jerk. One day my dad saw him in a night club giving another guy a hard time, so the other guy dumped him out of his wheelchair!LOL
