As fucked up as that is, I don't believe it. Or rather, maybe I choose not to believe it.

As far as I'm aware, women aren't physically able to have children until about 8 or so when they first have their period and what not. I could get technical but I'd rather leave it in lamens(sp?) terms. I don't recall women ever maturing as early as five, but then again I never had the desire to study that particular aspect.

Actually though if you think about it, all other mammals mature far more quickly than humans do. As an example we have this kitten, she's about 8 months old now and is already going into heat and being a big (although funny) pain in the ass. I'm surprised at how soon she matured, but her mom is a total ho and is pregnant again already and about to give birth, so I guess it shouldn't surprise me.

Until the 80's, some villages from the jungle and highlands have their own ways to married a girl. I don't know if they actually reach a sexual maturity in an early age but what i know is that girls who have their first period are forced to marry with a boy previously chosed by the other family years before. The boy's family gives money, food, lands, etc to the girl's family in change. You can see this even in some villages now but is not that frequently as before.

Also, "charapitas" are called the girls from the jungle cause they are known by their "sexual atributes". Many people think this is because of kind of food you eat in the jungle.
