Sorry, but I agree with antifreeze. None of them even seemed to flinch, let alone try to escape/duck from a sniper. Regardless of the conditions, if a guy in front of me went down due to a gun shot, I'd be freaking out. And believe me, it would show on the tape.

It's about what people living in a turbulent situation who've resigned themselves already to the possibility of being shot for what they believe in would do. Remember, different cultures really do think differently from one another. Hardcore muslims in the middle east murder their own daughters if they are part of a relationship that goes against their society. Would YOU murder your own daughter? Of course not. The actions of people across the world can't be gauged on your own psychology.

I think the big difference now how much more politically oppressive china is being toward Tibet. For an example this current Dali Lama is going to be the last real Dali Lama the Earth will ever know.
You see there is a guy called the Panchen Lama who's job it is to pick out the next Dali Lama and the person who picks the Panchen is the Dali. So the state in China basically picked it's own Panchen which means the next Dali will be a pawn for China = end of Tibet.
