I haven't been fishing in like 5 years. It's fun maybe I'll do some fishing this summer.

I remember a while back me and my dad went deep sea fishing. All we caught were sharks, and a couple non-sharks I guess you could call them. It sucked nuts.

Like the time me and my buddies snuck onto the golf course where it says no trespassing ? The two ponds by the seventh hole have some of the biggest large mouths ever and we got chased off by the course's Dobie's, only to run face first into the wire fence we couldn't see because it was dusk. I managed to climb over before I got it but Jim got his ass and his left Nike chewed to shit.

We couldn't report anything to anyone because we weren't supposed to be there in the first place.

If I could get any of the bastards I know with a boat to take me out... I'd live there.
Throw the fuckers off, hoist the Jolly Roger and fish until I died.

I think I just worked out why they wont take me out. :omg:

I usually just head to a secluded spot on the beach, a thermos with a little Irish mix, throw some cheap arsed bait on the hooks and wade around in the clear blue water.
Throw almost everything back that I catch, I just like the feeling of catching another living creature with a hook through its mouth... and then just toss them back.

Still want to head up North (from me.. the top end of Aus) and go Barramundi fishing, those fuckers look like they put up a great fight, plus you get to dodge crocodiles... or shoot at them with a .22, it wont kill them, just to piss them off some.

I used to fish regularly but haven't done so for the past couple of years, last time i went was to a small carp lake when i was on holiday in West Wales last year, i caught 5 carp up to around 8 lb in weight on my carp rod and about 30 various other species such as roach, rudd, perch and bream on my float rod.
I am going to Cornwall in about 2 weeks and have already got a shark trip and a mackerel trip booked, there is also a coarse/carp fishery nearby and of course plenty of beaches, rocks, islands and estuarys to fish. My family will be heading down about 3 days before me as i can't get away from work in time so i will be driving down in my car with plenty of room for all my tackle. I can't fucking wait.

joox what a stupid childish comment. I'd like to shoot you with a 22 not to kill you just to piss you off. Youve got your age wrong. The three and one are back to front.

I love fishing, normally saltwater, from a Pier, rocks, harbour etc.
I sometimes go out on a hired boat, but they use some sonar shit that finds the fish, you drop your line and after that itīs like shooting fish in a barrel, fun for 15 minīs then just boring.

I usually fish for Cod, Mackerel, and when the season is in Horn Fish. We also set a few Lobster pots from time to time, but due to our pot smoking, and lack of anything more on the boat than an engine, more often than not forget where the fuck weīve left them.

A friend of mine has just spent the last 2 weeks in Alaska somewhere fishing, looking forward to those pics when I see him.

Watch it Unmelted dude... Crazy Horse may call you a childish wanker for shooting fish in a barrel. :rolleyes2:

Yeah, not a fan of the charter thing, find it takes all the real fun out of it all.
Just being out on, or by, the ocean is enough to make my day... the rest of the world is far far away, where they belong.

I fish using two methods. 1. Dynamite Fishing. 2. Fishing with an old crank phone.

How old are you? Where do you live? Freashwater/course fishing and carp fishing i taught myself, i started going when i was 8 and learned by watching other people and by trial and error. Sea fishing i had a bit of help with, my friend cousin taught me how to cast and what baits to use at what time of year and for what species.

Hertfordshire? Theres bound to be a river, lake or pond you can fish in, maybe even a club you could join.

Fished a lot, nothing tastes better than eyes, imo. Fish for a lot of salmon/lake trout/steelhead and coho, too. This time of year they're about 12 miles offshore in 200+ feet of water. It takes a while to lift a 30 lb fish from 200 feet down, but a lot of fun.

Damn right Herts!

Mhh, well all the lakes I've been to here are either to murky to notice any signs of fish, or in a public area and look like a freak fishing, but I'll Google map places.

I went out fishing on Monday.

Like about 12k's out in a boat, never done that before. First time for everything I guess :D

Got some Dewfish (Dhufish?) and I caught a Queenfish. (I didn't catch any Dewfish).

Ate my queenfish tonight though and it was the best tasting fish I've ever eaten. :omg:

I reckon I've got the taste for fishing now too.. that was great on monday going out fishing, 'cept the guy I went with races boats and he was going fast as fuckery on the way there and back, I almost got thrown out of the boat on the way there lol, before i realized I had to stand up and fucken hold onto something.

Lots of fun though.
