Clearing out my computer

Hi everyone....

Ok, couple questions, hopefully one of you nerds (I kid, I kid) will know what I should do :)

I have to turn in my work laptop today (last day, yaaaay!) and

1.) I want to make sure I clear up any of my info...passwords and stuff like that. I'm sure they will reformat it before they give it to someone new, I would just feel better if I knew nothing like was still stored. What should I do?

2. ) I have a ton of pictures saved to a folder, does anyone know of a photo storing site where I can upload pictures using a whole folder, instead of individually? It would take forever.

You can upload a whole folder of pictures at once on myspace. Just select all the pics and click the upload button (whatever the button is called).

There are a bunch of super duper HDD cleaners you can download to erase the thing fully and sheet.
If it doesnt have a dvd burner, then you got pwnd... or at least you wont be able to back up all your pictures to dvd.

And since you phrased your question the way you did.......... other options would just end up taking me forever to explain. But I would happily do that for titty pictures.

save all your pics and shit to a flash drive or external hard drive, and put that bitch into recovery mode. will erase everything except for applications.

With my work pc i usually format the disc, then reinstall the operating system so everything looks clean..... if i remember correctly you can just stick in your windows disc or what ever you're running and is should give you an option to format and reinstall....

and put the pics on a flash disk, or a removable hard drive or a dvd .... it's going to be a bitch to upload hundreds of pics .... and an even bigger bitch to download them if you don't have a good connection to the net ....

EDIT: I guess the paranoid solution would be to format your disk, then reinstall everything, then open your lap top and shake the hard drive while it's running until it starts giving you errors because of bad sectors, once you try and boot your pc and get that blue screen of death you should be safe .....

change the Bios--
use the cd rom for start up..
