I was driving approximately 210 on the highway today when suddenly *bam* - a flash. I thought there was no speed limit, but if there was one, it was at least 120... Fuck!!!!! Now I have to wait a couple of weeks for the result. I may lose my license for like 3 to 4 month, but hopefully not longer! (plus a fee of around 400 Euro). I am worried as shit. I soooo hope the flash was directed towards the car in front of me. He had just passed me and was a bit faster than me. fuck fuck fuck.....

Well whatever happens, I'm sure you deserve it lol. That's pretty dangerous, no racetracks around where you live?

Yeh, you should be banned, 4 months is nothing though, i'd give you a 10 year ban personally and 500 euros is far too light a fine.

That should be good enough to avoid a ticket.

True.

It's not dangerous when the highway is free. I bet you'd drive that fast too when you were allowed. To me driving on a racetrack seems even more dangerous than driving fast on the "Autobahn". First, because there's stupid fucks behind you who think they are pro-drivers and do risky maneuvres to pass you when they shouldn't. Second, there's stupid fucks in front of you, who never use backmirrors (I know both can be found on the highway too, but you have LANES on the highway). Last but not least, there's less turns more straights on the highway.

Although I would love to ride an Audi, I sat in a VW (Faux Weh - lol!) Multivan.

Afaik you have to drive about 183 km/h when 50 km/h is allowed so that your license plate is not on the final picture.

lol, I've been 260+ on the freeway in a suburu. The speedo only went to 260 but I reckon I would have gotten at least another 10k's faster. Was like 4am in the morning and I was using all the lanes.. fuckall people on the freeway but they must have thought holy fuck when I came flyin' past at 160-170k's faster then them. :D
Edit: That was a 100k zone though.
Unfortunately we don't have autobahns in western australia. :(

Are you never driving that fast?
Lately I drive to get the best fuel mileage from my ride. I imagine that's near the top speed I've ever driven, but it's been a while since I opened up a car. Not to mention the rural road I drive wouldn't allow for such speed.

Around here if the automated cameras get you they just send the owner of the vehicle a fine in the mail but nothing happens to anyone's driving record. They also just take a pic of your plates so they have no way to prove who was actually driving
Do they have cameras in the front to show that you're the one driving the car?

I just hope ya never hit anything at those speeds, or it is game over.
I can't say much about it though, since when I was younger I did the same shit. Almost learned about high speed wobble the hard way on my old yammerhammer doing about 210.. 220 mph (one of you guys will have to figure out what that is in KPH). Was just tryin to find out it's top speed and never did find it. Just about had to clean my pants out after I got it back under control. That was the LAST time I went that fast without wings.

A few years ago, I had my old Crown Vic cop car up to 135mph on a 60mph straight stretch of highway once. I slowed to the speed limit, and rounded a curve, and waved at the cop running radar on the side of the road. What a lucky day, because I don't own a radar detector.
Btw, I thought that cocksuckers flaming people outside the fight room was verboten.
