Kiss my ass goodbye if one of those ever stung me. Allergic to Bee stings, I am.....got to carry a syringe with me at all times during warm weather.
But I am pretty sure that wasp is from Japan, no worries for me as I am not going there any time soon..........

YEP, I was right, Vespa Mandarina, Giant Japanese (Asian)Wasp 5.5 Cm long found in China, Asia, IndoChina, Japan and other areas of the western Pacific. Its sting kills more than 40 people a year in Japan alone.
