Not one single person noticed that the rope was way too short, with the possible exception of the guy with the camera, but I didn't hear him laughing.

If the insurance company paid out for the truck, they fail too.

FFS, I did this exact same thing last weekend helping my sister's boyfriend to put in a fence. Admittedly, the tree was a lot smaller, but it was next to power lines. Me in the truck, Rod at the tree with a chainsaw. worked like a charm.
