I'm used to seeing Bush portrayed as an idiot, and looking like an inbred 'Deliverance' type (he's only missing a banjo)...Hell, you can't fault a cartoonist for drawing the truth. But look at what they've done to the O'Savior. I guess the Honeymoon is over, and he isn't even in office yet.

I mean, really. What's with the ears? Are they saying that the O'Savior is going to be another Bush? WTF is going on here?

nah... people who draw political cartoons depicting presidents always over exaggerate on a salient physical feature...
it just happens that bush has big ears and so does obama...
anyway, that second cartoon is obviously from the right... i agree that the government doesn't need to get any bigger but for the cartoonist to say that Obama thinks "ALL" this economy needs is more government employees is a stretch... the 600,000 public sector jobs are minimal compared to amount of private sector jobs he plans on creating... if he can create them....

Political Cartoonists always make me think of "Mean Girls". Look at Obama's suit, they make it look like a little kid wearing an adult suit. And the picture of the Muslim (I think that's what its supposed to be?) on his desk...

That's on purpose... He's saying that Obama is too unexpirienced(like a little kid) to fit the shoes/clothes of that office...
I can't make out what's in that picture on his desk

Every politician gets the charicature treatment. Regardless of how many people like them to start off with.

Don't worry. The media's fascination with Obama will last quite a while yet. They still consider him the new Messiah. Just yesterday, I was listening to one telling about how "Camelot" has returned. But then, Kennedy's "Camelot" was as much myth as the original... and so will this one be.
