That is an awesome video- some of those people are otherworldly. FFS, my best expert minesweeper time is 81 seconds- world's fastest is under half that.

I'm terrible at that minesweep game. I understand it, but almost always fuck it up towards the end.

You know, I really think that optical mice just aren't quite as good as old school ball mice- particularly for making tiny, rapid and accurate movements like in Minesweeper. There's something about the type of friction and inertia of the ball that helps here, I'm sure of it.

Especially if you're so used to the ball kind. I'm a dirty bastard and always have dirt and grime on the mouse pad. It used to get lodged in the ball and cause problems.
