yea he was a cop and was driving and a cab rear ended him and that was when they still had the gas tank right in the back so even though he didnt hit him to hard, it blew up. i remember i saw an interview with him and wife and kid and they had a picture of him before and the little kid was like no, your not my daddy, thats my daddy. sooo sad

This guy is now a detective in his home town. He was on the A&E show The First 48 hours. He has had it rough but made good of the situation that he was put in.
