This friggin reporter is either stupid as Hell or has a Big set of Brass Balls and I am leaning toward the former.
Why would you keep shoving a microphone into a murderers face? You can see the guy was getting perturbed, the reporter was lucky the man didn't have the gun on him and was feeling somewhat remorseful. I am sure that since he was going to confess to one murder, wasting some over zealot scumbag reporter looking for a little "reporters trophy" to put on the mantle for the Story of the Week wouldn't bother him in the least!
This reporter probably used to poke mad dogs with a stick when he was a kid!

Most people who murder someone aren't "murderers" in the sense they're cold blooded masochistic sociopaths. A lot of people do what this guy did, and kill someone in the heat of the moment.
