Opinions about the 3 word story thread that people refuse to let go of and has turned into a flaming thread as well.

It should be in the fight room, it's just full of flames, insults, and banter, and an excuse by some people to indirectly talk shit without actually doing so. It is 100% without merit and quite frankly it's just absolutely pointless. I know this thread is going to get that lovely argument "if you don't like it, don't read it" yet no one can seem to follow that advice when we so called 'troll' the board. I'll just sit back and watch the insults roll in cause we both know that's how this will end up. A fight for about 3 pages, the same old bullshit, especially with overlord. I'm about to piss myself in anticipation for the next garbage he has formed in his skull and is ready to type for the world to see. Especially since he's stalking me around the forum, but i'm not flattering myself, yet I don't see him stalking anyone else.

Agreed though, if there is a story thing, at least more than 3 pages. What could one possibly say in 3 words other than random mindless things that don't make sense, NOTHING! Nothing worth reading anyway.

AS FAR AS I am concerned, the "Three Word Story" is where it will stay. Until Tech Guy feels a need for a special area for three word stories, they are not of a specific subject so should remain under General Chat.

IN A THREE WORD STORY, the purpose of the story is to attempt to make some kind of sense when all of these words are put together. Be the outcome Funny, Stupid, Idiotic or Immature, it is the final story that is the ultimate goal.

If you do not like the Topic of a forum, either stay out or post your opinion and be prepared to defend it. We cannot allow Trolling of a Forum to Derail the Group Topic. There is plenty of room for topics of all sorts here...use it!

I didn't troll that thread neither did VK really. Expressed our opinions and we were jumped on like a dead animal surrounded by vultures. We didn't derail a topic...because that thread HAS NO TOPIC. I know full well the purpose of such threads. They should be if anywhere the Joke forum IMHO. If they contain flames they should be in the Fight forum IMHO. I don't think he, and I for that matter, are trying to strip anyone of their rights to talk about what they want. Their is a difference between a sewing circle and pointless banter. Your going to have to define "flame". Tgd's post in this thread is a "flame". I have been a board mod on many boards I admit most where my own but when you have 70+ active posters it's no joke. Is something not a flame because it is indirect but clearly flaming someone? No it isn't it's still a flame.
My beef with the 3 word story started with me rereading this forums very own rules. Then my beef came from the flames that came from me posting my opinion about it. That entire thread would be deleted or moved to the fight room if up to me. I geuss you can thank god I'm not a mod here because I would actually enforce the rules of this forum...and in a NON-BIASED way. I don't care if everyone likes me or not. A forum should run smoothly and without flame whoring.
Patient? My friend I have been so patient ..it's beyond patience regarding others opinions. I left that thread alone did I not when I said I would after I was attacked by a bunch of vulturous flamers. This poll was to get opinions on it. As I saw it and still see it now it violates the forum policys.
Members make this site, but ignorant flamers that post nothing valid must be weeded out in all forums.
