As far as Mr. "Nose-Finger" or "Finger-Nose" is concerned, yes it can be done! The Eye sockets are connected to the nose through the sinuses via a little duct or drain at the inside corner of your eye.
Go to a mirror and look in the inside corner (by your nose) of your lower eye lid. Pull the lower lid down if need be........see that little hole in the corner? At the spot where the crusty "sleepies" collect. Well that my friends is a drain, not a tear duct!
It is there so your eyes can drain when they tear (which is every time you blink). Tear fluid keeps the surface of the eye moist and consist of three parts, a sticky part, a lubricant and a wash. The tears drain down that hole and into your nose! That is why your nose gets all runny when you cry.....you are actually blowing a lot of tear fluid out along with the other junk that gets loosened up!
The guy in the photo my have been in an accident or had a birth defect.....
OR he could be or was a big coke or crank snorter. Coke eats the mucus membranes of the nasal passages when snorted. Coke could have eaten away the tissue in this tear duct allowing him to stick his finger up there like that!
BUT, look at the photo.....look at his finger, looks like it at a weird angle?
Possibly a two part finger?
