according to bbc news lastnight the king seems to have given his backing to the military and the thai people do pretty much what the king says so it should be cool, but as t rex said the shit could hit the fan when the prime minister gets back

I'd wait a few years b4 going to Thailand. When a government gets toppled you never know how badly reforming can go(take a look at the French revolution..you'd be amazed how badly things got...it even turned against those who started it originally!).
