I saw it...but I still don't believe it. I can't stand people that scream out "fake" ..but in this instance I guess I'll hate myself and claim it's FAKE!

Nah it isnt fake. There r archers who can hit really tiny things from ike 20 Meters. I just guess that it wasnt right on the first attempt.

lol i hate you :). why not? from that close the dude could probably hit the bulllseye over and over again.

what south korea needs to do now is train some people like him and then invade north korea.

That guy was talented. I admire anyone who is master/mistress of their art. I believe that video could very well be real. There are things that can be done when practiced so well. I admire these kinds of people. You see little chinese kids practice their art of kung foo and stuff and you admire their art and their determination. Those in the east can teach us a lot in the west that's for sure.

I can't stand people that scream out "fake" ..but in this instance I guess I'll hate myself and claim it's FAKE! definately not. i was at an NRA camp one year and saw some IMPOSSIBLE shit. i forget teh kids name exactly but im almost positive he was less then 20 years old. he took 2 arrows, 1 bow, one shot, and hit 2 life savers from 20 yards away.

OZARK....I can not believe that you are going to say "Fake".
Not only is it real, but I have seen it done personally by a friend of mine.
Now I am not going to even claim that I could do it or that my friend could do it at will, BUT we still have the arrow.
I hunt Archery exclusively, I have the rifles locked away...primitive weapons only for me now. I also belong to two Archery Clubs and watch competitions by friends. I don't think that there isn't an Archery Club in the USA that doesn't have a "Robin Hood" hanging over the bar somewhere. Some guys are lucky, some are good. This Korean Gentleman was GOOD!
Also, I forget his name but he was US Champion about 25 years ago....I was at a Hunting Expo and this man was putting on an Archery Expo. He had his assistant throw an Aspirin in the air and he shot it with a wooden arrow from a re-curve bow. He used an aspirin because you could see it "explode" when hit!

OK..OK already!! I'm outnumbered here...I didn't think that stuff was possible. Supposedly it is. I just don't see how a person can shoot that accurate with an arrow. My first "Fake" claim and I'm wrong. :(

Incredible shot! I've split an arrow before... wish I still had the arrows. I'm guessing that thing was a tube and not another arrow, though I thought I saw fletchings on it. Something like that is entirely possible statistically... but if that was exactly what he was going for, that's incredible.

but it's a cheat: there's no nock on the shaft that they stuck in the target, if there had been a nock - the part that snaps around and gets pushed by the bowstring - then it would have deflected the incoming shaft. Note how the stationary shaft is pushed up on impact. Also bogus is the film shot, note that the arrow rotates in flight, so even a broadhead [razor blade tip] is not capable of splitting a cedar [the wood used for arrows] shaft lengthwise. Very few broadhead designs have a razor tip. What's not shown is the number of attempts made; the hefty archer has an uneven stance and tends to drop the bow arm, often called "peeking" to see where the shot goes. Also not mentioned are the differences in the equipment: Robin would have used layered lemon wood in a longbow style; these archers are all using a design called 'full working recurve' which did not exist at the time Robin allegedly shat [past tense of shit, NOT shot misspelled] in Sherwood. Additionally they are using devices to smoothly release the string instead of bare fingers, sights in the string that did not exist and are not allowed in real international competition, they're called 'cheats', levels on the bow to ensure a true verticle hold, stabilizers - weighted extensions - that absorb bow vibrations and a Berger button to damp the initial arrow's flex against the bow when the string is released. A very good shot even at 20 yards-the distance here is unknown-but quite unrealistic. Good archers shooting 90 meters will have lots of spare arrows and repair parts. How do I know all this? My high school team was undefeated for far more than just the three years I was shooting on it.

That's pretty good!! The only experience I have with this is when I shot the little red rubber plunger type arrows when I was a little kid...playing Cowboys and Indians.

Yeh I saw that guy with the aspirin on Ripley's not too long ago. His wife threw the aspirin into the air and he hit it. Incredible stuff. Like Oz was saying he used an older wooden bow, not the tech bows used in this video, which makes it even more amazing. He was doing all kinds of crazy shit.
