There's no reason she couldn't just NOT do that. If she can DO it, she can NOT do it. She just got into a weird behavior pattern. That's all.
Pay her a dollar a minute for behaving and I'll bet you'd see results. Then tell her to do the same without the payment.

I'm and Ambo. I've seen people with Touretts in the job and Doco's on the subject and after watching this I must say...'she is a spoilt brat trying to get attention. She needs either a good hard spanking or a serious fucking and I am the one to do it to her!" That shit aint real!

Funny how all some of you post Rude Comments! if that was your sister/cousin/neice you would not want people to down her like that!
Tourette's Syndrome, also known as Tourette's Disorder, is often associated with other conditions, such as Attention Deficit Disorder, Executive Dysfunction ...
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, non-OCD anxiety disorders, Executive Dysfunction, depression, Bipolar Disorder, autism spectrum disorders including Asperger's Disorder, 'rage attacks,' sensory integration issues, and sleep disorders. For every condition section of the site, you'll also find articles and files relating to school-related issues in the Education section of the site. And don't miss the general Behavior section, where you'll find topics of concerns to parents and teachers of children with these childhood-onset conditions or disorders
this is what one goes thru in life, and some of you post jokes and BS making fun of her shame on you.

no Laughing matter Very Serious matter and very hard for them to function in School and other soical events/home/school/ and daily routine. you she could not her nails must be very hard and Frustrating for her to maintain control. they say it happends 1 out of 10 kids born!! makes me sick to see people bashing her for her disorder she has no control over!!!

yeah, a few dollars are gonna solve a highly biological/genetic problem. what you describe sounds like the behavioral approach of the early 1900s btw, go read.
they say it happends 1 out of 10 kids born
thats way off! its more like 5-30/10000 (DSM-IV)
this is one of the worst mental problems you can get, and like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, which are also some of the worst, its highly biological. its not a temper/personality problem, and a therapy consisting of a few slaps wont do shit. actually, they sometimes give to these kids the same medication they give to schizos. some of the posts in here are a great example that ignorance leads to intolerance.
she does act a bit like the spoiled victim though, but then again tourettes tend to have a very low tolerance to frustration. they cant help it no matter how they grew up.

I am inclined to agree with those who claim this is a fake.
Just finished watching a special on Tourettes on the Discovery Health Channel this afternoon.
First, it is rare for a female to have the disorder.
Second, persons afflicted usually outgrow the symptoms by adulthood and if they persist, they are more of the violent "ticks" than outbursts.
Third, verbal outburst are generally limited to one or two words. Not whole phrases and sentences.
This young woman may have Tourettes, but I sincerely doubt it is to the extreme that she portrays.

I think the girl has been pulling Grandma's chain all these years and enjoys the attention and the slave labor that Grandma provides. She can just blame everything on tourettes to get her way and to cuss out Granny with no repercussions.

Looks like she does have tourettes but that's also compounded with the fact that she's a spolied brat, I've never seen a tourette's sufferer behave like that before, that grandmother is a softie, she should be discipling that bratty teenager with a few backslaps upside down her head.

I agree, what gave it away for me was when she painted the chair and said "oops I got in on the chair oh well". I have also read about and watched enough specials on touretts and this girl is wayy off. She perhaps has or had it mildly but has grown so used to people catering to her that it has become dependant on it in a strange way, (creatures of habit).

this is no fake, its from MTVs True Life: I have tourettes. They state that this girl has a very extreme case. so extreme that she goes under surgery on the show. the reason she lashes out so much (besides the obvious disease) is because she cant control the twitches and shes just very frustrated. later in the show she apologized to her grandma. also, the girl is bald cuz of the surgery and she is 15.
