Im packing for my flight back to England right? Fiance is coming over on the 25th and i've advised him to bring a LARGE suit case, yeah? and a carry on bag for his crap, i've allowed him 3 tops 3 bottoms and 3 BOTTOMS, its only 2 days. So, I'm packing now right, I've got a black long duffle bag with 10 travel size space bags and a few tops that i've managed to squeeze in betwixt the bags.Theres over60 articals of clothing in this bag not to mention the utility pockets on the side, not so bad, mostly summer tops a couple dresses and some light material garments. Check. Then the carry on suit-case there is my royal daulton piggy bank ( if any of you know this stuff you must know that the boxes and junk are all stuffed and big it takes up a shit load of room. A set of plates I got from ikea (they were so cute), 6 pack of shot glasses, egyptian oil burner, glass type stuff and about 8 special occassion bras that you don't wear any old day, the matching bottoms are somewhere in a space bag. Mostly fragile things in there, or weird shapes. Then there are these 2 large army duffle bags, the dark green ones (thank you mom and dad for joining the military). Filled to the brim with clothes and shoes. They both weight 50 pounds, I managed to get all but 5 pieces from the closet (excluding clothes i've got to wear over the next 2 weeks, clothes in the hamper and a ton of shoes, most of which i know i'm going to have to ship. Now the question I pose to any of you master packers is this.

I've got about 25-35 pieces of clothing, 4 RD margarita glasses ( if they werent RD they would stay right here), about 6 more travel size space bags, some art prints that are betwixt 2 pieces of cardboard, and all the things that are not allowed onto flights anymore, liquid things. Oh and about 4-5 pair of shoes some purses and some hats, oh christ and bras and underwear, DAMMIT I forgot those. And 3 make-up bags. Now i've got to fit all this into........1 large suit-case, 1 carry-on bag, two messenger bags and possibly my purse if no one catches on again ;). Do any of you know any tips to packing this shit in an effective manner? Or what I could do better? The two army bags are not included as it has taken me two hours to fill every inch of available space so that is OUT of the question. I'm about to go up and re-do the black bag and my carry-on. This would be greatly appreciated, help!

I want all my stuff to go with me, clothes shoes purses and junk like that. Despite what my parents and future husband say, they dont understand the principals of trend, classic and season (well my mom kinda does, she went to school for it, but her knowledge is dated).

The nautical look is so back in, does anyone notice? No, because they have not the eye for it! Those poor poor people.

Must eliminate some of your Bra's....judging by the size of your Hooters :D ,
they make your luggage over the weight limit!
Need you to try those "over the shoulder boulder holder's" on, take pics and post here.
I will PM you my decision as to which ones should stay....and which ones go with!

Oh no, he won't be seeing me in those, not on the 25th anyway, I don't even plan on sleeping with him, but who knows what may happen. Those bras and the matching bits are special occassion for when i go out. I like things to match. I thought eight would be a small number, compared to others. Oh my God two bras? I wouldn't know what to do. Not all the bras match the bottoms but alot of them do.

They are not expensive (La Senza.....get all my lingerie there)....so I replace often.

Why don't you crate all the stuff up (not including the clothes) and ship it? Cheap and not so slow as you might think. I have moved continents many times with houseloads of stuff. If you pack it properly it will make it in one piece.
