Kurdish Christians are a minuscule minority, virtually inexistent. Although some Kurds still practice their ancient Yassidic religion, the vast majority are muslims. I have worked a full year with Kurdish refugees and they were by far and large tolerant people, with a broad and quite lenient interpretation of Islam. Just like the bible, it depends upon what someone interprets from their religious book. These Muslim "extremists" all sleep with their Quran at night and when they kill they chant "Allah au Akbar" so you tell me whether it's not in the religion.

Your interpretation is that the Quran is full of peace but obviously millions of other Muslims believe it preaches violence and to kill others for the stupidest of reasons.
