Any of the fighters who went down and started to punch the opponent were not professional fighters. As well with the fighers who picked up their opponent and slamed them. It has been shown that it is more effective to bring an opponent to the ground by hits rather then a throw. About 90% of fights end up on the ground and that is one of the worst places you can end up. Who ever actually kicked the opponent while they were down knows how to fight, its even more effective if they kicked them in the temple but that may lead to brain damage or death.
