I think a taser would have sent the message to him a lot faster than a stun gun, but hey, whatever works.

Not the greatest clip, it was really hard to tell what exactly was going on there. It all looked pretty straight forward to me though. Guy wouldn't do what he's told, gets stunned, game over.

wow I didn't know they use stun guns in holding tanks,
seems a little odd, but its better than a baton.

Stupidity results in pain. Nothing new in that. Can't even blame the cop for not giving ample warning.

I didnt get to hear the usual shreak of pain normal people make when they get tazed but He should know that the chances of him getting out are in the decimals.

I don't think the issue is the fact he got stunned. 2 things jump out at me.
1.) The police officer used the stungun when the suspect was handcuffed. This is against protocol as the victim can suffer breathing difficulties after the charge has been administered. There have been a number of well documented deaths as a result of this and it led to a change in the guidelines issued to most police forces a few years back.
2.) The same officer administered the charge to the neck which again runs contrary to proper terms of use. This can cause cardiac arrest and epileptic seizures.
If anyone finds themselves in a situation where they have to use deadly force then of course guidelines go out the window. The man was being difficult and obviously the officers had to get him to comply however he was not being overly aggressive in my opinion and I think the decision to use the stungun in the first place was a bit over the top. The guy was already cuffed and with a bit of negotiation and common sense he may have done what he was told anyway.

I can already see it. Cops are going to be sued because they used thier gun instead of a taser.

That was normal for uncooperating with police. Now I just figured out the conspiracy ulterior motive for the LAPD backing down and NOT defending the immigration rally protest that got out of hand. After visiting Hermes-press.com the laborers of America are screwed, extreme badly. Thus be nice to them AS IF they have the upper hand when in reality they are screwed real bad. Why? because a major labor revolt is, always has been, always will be predicted when corporate domination takes over, which it has. Therefore, be nice to those slaves, they are needed to do all the work and pay all the bills and still lose the home they have to foreclose. Renting sucks because the owners do nothing, in terms of work. They just sit back while everyone else makes things happen. Why go to Home Depot to "do it yourself"? Obviously, home flipper rippers hardly get involved but to dictate what some slave ought to do. Not one of those mexicans working on the homes you see on TV could ever purchase a home in that area.

Sometimes a certain amount of force is needed. You can't let the inmates run the asylum. But there is a thin line between enough and legal and excessive and illegal force.

The land of the free eh? Jesus that Bin Laden guy really fucked your country up didn't he.All your human rights have been put back 30 years. You have to admire OBL, with one small attack he's changed the lives of 300 million people. Who'd have thought you'd lay down so quickly.

Where did I say I felt sorry for the guy in cuffs? I may be an asshole in your opinion for simply having a point of view but at least I know the difference between a story and a storey.

Yup, dipshit...
So let me guess, your stupid liberal ass would rather see this guy get shot, or get broken bones from batons, and inflict injury on the cops.
I swear, some people can't see one step ahead of themselves.

Bollocks to that, he´s a scum bag car thief that was not doing as he was asked, he deserved to be stunned. I hate how all the law´s that we have are to protect the criminal, about time we all grew some balls and show the criminals that they can go fuck off.
